Our commitment
Grand Cayman Group Ltd. designs Workflow Academy to be usable by as many learners as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. Our design target is WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Conformance status
We describe the platform as partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: the target is applied throughout development and checked automatically, but no independent accessibility audit has been carried out and we do not publish a VPAT or Accessibility Conformance Report. We will not claim full conformance until an independent evaluation supports it.
Measures we take
- Automated accessibility checks cover the public routes and a fixture-backed set of signed-in components. Route-level checks of authenticated pages depend on configured test credentials and a browser-reachable database, so they may be skipped in a given run; we do not present them as always executed.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip link to the main content are used across the application.
- Interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Form fields carry programmatic labels, and errors and status changes are announced.
- State is never communicated by colour alone.
- Layouts remain usable at 200% zoom and on small screens.
- Motion respects the operating-system reduced-motion preference.
- Where a lesson has video, captions or an approved transcript are published with it; where no recording exists, the complete written lesson is provided instead of a placeholder player.
Known limitations
- No independent audit, VPAT, or Accessibility Conformance Report exists yet.
- Automated checks cannot detect every barrier; some issues are only found by assistive-technology users.
- Uploaded and administrator-authored content depends on the author supplying alternative text, captions, and transcripts.
- Downloadable workbooks and exported documents have not been individually assessed for accessibility.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter a barrier, tell us what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and the assistive technology you use. We will respond and, where a fix takes time, offer an alternative way to complete the task.
